Instituto Interelos, SENAI Amap\u00e1 and Amazonbai join forces to drive sustainable development through innovation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an unprecedented partnership, three important institutions that operate directly in the Amazon biome are working to create mechanisms that can promote sustainable business and generate innovative solutions for the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The starting point for this confluence of interests was the \u201cInnovation Workshop on the a\u00e7a\u00ed production chain in the Bailique Archipelago and Beira Amazonas\u201d, held last week at the Hub de Inova\u00e7\u00e3o do SENAI<\/strong>, in Macapa. The meeting, which lasted two days and had the partnership of Sebrae do Amap\u00e1, brought together specialists from the SENAI <\/strong>of Innovation, representatives of the Interelos Institute and leaders of the cooperative amazonbai<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of this strategic partnership is to discuss innovative alternatives for the sustainable development of the a\u00e7a\u00ed value chain in Amap\u00e1, with the aim of amazonbai <\/strong>as a model for the implementation of these alternatives, and thus build, together, innovative initiatives capable of benefiting the region's producers and thus improving the quality of life and socioeconomic condition of the Amazon riverside communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second Renata de Barros<\/a>, an agricultural and environmental engineer who represented the Interelos Institute<\/strong> in the organization of the work fronts, \u201cthe partnership with the SENAI <\/strong>comes to contribute to the main themes of the Amap\u00e1 a\u00e7a\u00ed chain, fulfilling an important demand regarding the efficiency of the chain\u2019s logistical and production process, and also waste treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe a\u00e7a\u00ed economy is significant for the strengthening of Amap\u00e1. It is currently considered one of the fruits with the greatest socioeconomic prominence and has become the product with the greatest potential for income distribution for the local population,\u201d said the president of the Interelos Institute<\/strong>, Aerton Paiva<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the first day of the meeting, the group discussed topics such as zero waste, production efficiency, added value, logistics and connectivity. On the second day, everyone was invited to see how the current production line for a\u00e7a\u00ed pulp works. amazonbai<\/strong>, and paid a visit to their agroindustry. At the end of the workshop, the group also visited the site that will house the new factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
