The first Parada Certa support point, aimed at app-based drivers and delivery workers, will begin operating on June 25th in Mauá (SP). The space was designed to offer conditions for rest, hygiene, and social interaction to workers who operate daily on the streets.
The initiative, which has social investment from the Banco do Brasil Foundation and a partnership with the Municipality of Mauá, is the result of meetings and encounters held by the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic with representatives of the category to identify the main demands of these professionals. Discussions have been ongoing since last year. The Interelos Institute is the implementation partner of the project, which also includes training activities for the professional development of the category.
The space has two containers adapted for different purposes. One is intended for personal hygiene services, with men's, women's, and accessible restrooms for people with disabilities, including an adapted shower. The second has space for socializing, eating, resting, and educational activities.
The site also features an outdoor social area, parking with approximately 40 spaces, and a bicycle rack.

With this project, Interelos reaffirms its commitment to developing production chains in both rural and urban areas, prioritizing the well-being of communities and dignified conditions for income generation.”
