- agroecology
Part of the ecology that aims at the balanced integration between agricultural activities and the environment.
- agroforestry
Production system inspired by the dynamics of natural ecosystems, in which perennial forest species are planted together with agricultural crops and livestock.
- associativism
Movement or tendency of workers (rural or urban) to unite in representative entities (class associations or unions) in order to defend their interests.
- self-management
Management model of a company or organization by its own employees or members, in which everyone participates in administrative decisions on equal terms, only represented by a direction and a management council.

- bioeconomy
Industrial production model based on the use of biological resources. The objective is to offer solutions for the sustainability of production systems with a view to replacing fossil and non-renewable resources.

- Endowment fund
Financial fund with the objective of financing a specific activity from the allocation of interest arising from the application of principal capital, which is not withdrawn from the fund, thus guaranteeing its perpetual contribution to the activity it finances. In Brazil, it was regulated by Law 13,800, of January 4, 2019.

- geotechnology
Procedure or method that uses satellite images, digital maps and geocoded databases to map, manage and monitor, for example, agricultural areas, their temporal dynamics and the use of natural resources effectively, quickly and accurately.

- Business plan
Also called a business plan, the business plan is a document that specifies, in written language, a business that you want to start or that has already started. The use of strategic or business plans is a dynamic, systemic, participatory and continuous process to determine the organization's objectives, strategies and actions; it is assumed as a relevant instrument to deal with changes in the internal and external environment and contribute to the success of organizations.
